Heather Shepherd

Up until very recently Heather was a retired social worker and therapist. Having worked most of her career in social services, education and supporting those with developmental disabilities, art has been a healing aspect of her work and personal journey. Recognizing the invaluable healing aspect of art, crafts, gardening and nature Heather started Creative Heart Studios as the perfect balance of continuing her desire to support people in their journey while providing a space for the community that brings together art, crafts and botanical wonders. Creative Heart Studios has been an absolute joy and all though short lived there have been incredible and humbling opportunities to get creative with our amazing community.

Heather has recently had the opportunity to lean back into her clinical role and will be serving the youth and families in our community providing therapy and support through Lincoln Counties Health and Human Services Department.

Creative Heart Studios has been a once in a life time opportunity and every step of the journey has been enriching and magical. Stay creative and be well.
